One takeoff for every trade on the set.
Cut and fill, trenching, counts, areas and lengths - every quantity traced to the line, symbol or label it came from.
-
Scale read two ways
The printed words and the drawn bar, flagged when they disagree.
-
Every number traced
Back to the line, symbol or label it came from.
-
Nothing priced until you add it
A row waits for Add to takeoff or Approve. Then your own unit price book prices it.
How it works
-
Upload a plan set
Upload the PDF plan set you are bidding, then open a sheet.
-
Detect - lines, symbols, scale
Detect finds every line family on the sheet and measures it, and reads the scale from the printed words and the drawn bar. If they disagree, or the sheet prints several scales, it tells you instead of guessing. Counts then scans the sheet for repeated symbols.
-
Review, price and export
Check each quantity against the drawing, then press Add to takeoff or Approve. Your unit price book prices the rows. Export an itemized CSV, a report PDF of every approved sheet, or a bid-sheet CSV.
What it reads
Each tool adds its rows to the same takeoff.
- Cut / fill
- Existing and proposed contours and spot grades, turned into cut and fill volumes. Cut shows red, fill shows blue, and there is a 3D view.
- Units: CY
- Trenching
- Pick a pipe run and set its depths. You get the trench dig and the bedding, with the pipe footage split into depth bands.
- Units: CY · LF
- Counts
- Repeated symbols - windows, doors, fixtures - counted and checked against the sheet's own schedule.
- Units: EA
- Flooring
- Rooms grouped by floor type, with the wall base around each room.
- Units: SF · LF
- Linework
- Every line family on a sheet, found and measured. One grading sheet: 1,429 runs in 113 line styles, every one carrying the drafter's own layer name.
- Units: LF
- Structures
- Outline a building and type the depths. You get the dig, the backfill and the slab prep, plus the drain run around the foundation.
- Units: CY · SF · LF
Automated detection can be wrong.
